• Given how unpredictable Wisconsin winters can be, sometimes we need to take things into our own hands. Most of our customers would agree that Nordic Mountain has always made a lot of snow. This year we've again improved our snowmaking capabilities. What does this mean for you?

MORE SNOW = BETTER CONDITIONS AND A LONGER SEASON!

• Our state of the art Bombardier Snow Groomer purchased at the end of last season will ensure great surface conditions all season long.

• We've spent a great deal of time and effort into making our terrain parks accessible to all. Our parks have improved leaps and bounds in the past three seasons, and this winter will be no different. With a great sponsorship from Outdoor Outlet in Appleton, look for our parks to continue to evolve into some of the best you will find--anywhere!

• Our T-Bar Serving our terrain parks is no more. It has been replaced with an easy-to-ride handletow, making these runs more accessible to all.

• We've put new carpet in our entire rental, and we have completely remodeled our pro shop.

• Our new triple chair line management system will help shorten lines and provide more organization.

• We will again have our learn to ski and learn to board packages that include lift, rental, and a half day lesson at a greatly discounted price. Click here to check out our packages.

• This year we are adding Charity Night to our popular family of mid-week discounts. Every Monday night, a different charity will sponsor the night, and $1 of every lift ticket sold will go directly to that charity. SCHEDULED OPENING SUMMER 2009:

• We are almost through the first year of our 2 year project building our 10 million gallon snowmaking pond. Not only will our massive pond supply our hill with even more snow, but in the summer we will tranform it into the second wakeboard winch park in the nation, and the only one in the Midwest! With all of these changes taking place, we are still among the most affordable ski hills in Wisconsin, and even the entire Midwest. We believe skiing should be a sport that everyone can enjoy and afford. We have always been a great family hill, and we feel the changes we are making will help excite all members of the family.
